Pre 1975

Angelo Xuereb was born in Naxxar on 15th June 1952
He is the third child of Maria and Bartolomeo and the eldest son of eleven children
Angelo helped his father in farming and later in construction

Receiving an award from the American Ambassador

With LM200 cash as a wedding gift, in 1974, Angelo embarked on his construction business
In 1977 he established his first company – Angelo Xuereb LTD
Set up a pre-cast and pre-stressed factory in Naxxar
Constructed the Grand Strand at Ta Qali Football stadium – record period of 3 months
Established ‘Sunny Homes’ to market Real Estate

First office at home

Angelo Xuereb diversified into the tourism sector – developed Sunny Coast Holiday Complex in Qawra
Established Hard Rock quarry in a joint venture
Secured a government lease for Tigne Barracks in a going venture with government entities
Constructed the world’s largest reverse osmosis at Ghar Lapsi – record time of 3 months
Investiture as a Knight of St John of Jerusalem

Developed Malta’s largest 4-star Hotel, “The Suncrest” – record time of 13 months
Developed one of Malta’s residential complexes – ‘Falcon House’, Sliema
